Hi guys,

It’s been a while since I last update singapore girls blog. This is because I have been away from Singapore for a short holiday before I am moving to Switzerland. Right now, I am in Cambodia for holiday. It is a beautiful country and I am in love with it. If you got a chance, do visit Cambodia since it is just a 2 hour flight away from Singapore.

In just one week time, I will be moving to Switzerland for my new appointment there. It will be a great adventure once again for me. I will still try to update the singapore girls blog as and when time permit.

A woman in a hot air balloon realized that she is lost. She reduced altitude and spotted a man below. She descended a bit more and shouted, “Excuse me, Sir. Can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don’t know where I am.”

A man below replied, ” You’re in a hot air balloon hovering approximately 30 feet above the ground. You’re between 40 and 41 degrees north latitude and 59 and 60 degrees west latitude.

“You must be an engineer”, said the lady balloonist.
“I am”, replied the man. “How did you know?”

“Well”, answered the lady from the balloon, “everything you told me is technically correct, but I have no idea what to make of your information and the fact is I’m still lost. Frankly, you’re not able to help me at all. You’ve delay my trip even more.”

The engineer below responsed, ” You must be in the top management.”
“I am”, replied the lady balloonist, “but how did u know?”

“Well”, said the engineer, “You don’t know where you are, or where you’re going. You made a promise, which you have no idea how to keep, and you expect people beneath you to solve your problems.”

Damn, i’m so stressed with my work, have been staying in office since the last 2 days till pass midnight, yet cannot get the things done. Sigh… life is just sucks sometime!

In all case, several weeks a go, I went to have my dinner at the famous Peri-Peri chicken Nandos’ Singapore. All I know is that Nandos’ singapore is located at Bugis Junction. So there I went…. After about 10 minutes, I still could not locate the Nandos in Singapore yet. hmmmm… So I thought well, I should write a blog about where is Nando Singapore so that other Singaporean or expats will find it easier the next time they visit Bugis Junction.

How to get to Nandos’ Singapore?

Okay, to get to Nando’s singapore, you will first drop at Bugis Juction. It is right in front of the Ajisen Ramen on the Victoria Street. Nandos singapore is by no mean near the McDonald or Starbuck, so if you are at McDonald Bugis Junction, go straight towards the Intercontinental Hotel, and the Nandos’ Singapore would be on the right hand side.

Well, there are 2 occasions that I have been surprise by Citibank Singapore.

On one occasion, I was out there visiting friends in Changi Business Park Citibank office. I was in need in large sum of money (around 1000S$) so I went to withdraw from the Citibank ATM Machine there. After inputing all my PIN numbers and requested amount, the ATM machine statest that my account has been reduced by that amount but after several minutes later I was still waiting for my cash to come out from the Citibank ATM machine. 5 minutes later, I am still waiting. I started to get panick so I called up the operator and only then I can manage to see my Account has been reinstated with the correct amount. Well, the worst has yet to come. As you know, usually there are more than 1 Citibank ATM in the same location and hence since I was in need of money, I need to use the other ATM to withdraw the cash. You know what?? All the cash that came out from the “other” ATM machine was a 10$ note… Now imagine you are carrying 1000$ in a 10$ note.. hahhaha….

The other occassion strucks me yesterday when I notice a large sum of money was deposited into my account, more than 12,000SG$. Yes, more than 12 grand guys! I was surprise and of course I do not know who did the deposit for me so now I emailed the Citibank Customer Service Office to get some explanation on the source of the money.

Marina Sands Resort has just been opened last week on 27th-April-2010. Today I decided to visit there and as this is the first time I went there, I was wondering on how to go to marina sands resort and I’m sure this blog post will be useful for someone else who would like to go to Marina Sands Resort but do not know how to get there.

Okay, the fastest way to get to Marina Sands Resort is by MRT: The Promenade Station. It will take about 10 minutes from the Promenade MRT station to the Marina Sands Resort and Casino by passing the Helix Bridge… Oh, ya, the Helix bridge is really a cool bridge. I like the Helix bridge the design very much.

In all case, if you decide to take MRT, take the Circle Yellow line MRT and stop at the Promenade. There are simply many signs for you to follow. Good luck on getting to Marina Sands Resort and Marina Sands Casino, Singapore.

According to SMH news from Australia, Haruna Ai took home 10,000 US dollar and a year of free stay at Pattaya Hotel in addition to the 500 US Dollar surgical voucher after winning the Miss International Queen 2009 .
